Perched on the heights of Ribeauvillé since the 14th Century, Saint Ulrich, Ribeaupierre and Girsberg Castles have witnessed Alsace through the Middle Age.
You can travel back in time of the Rapelstein Lords while enjoying one of many hikes starting from Ribeauvillé.

The most famous Wine Route winds through both of Alsace departments, Haut-Rhin and Bas-Rhin for over 170 km, crossing the entire wine region from Thann (68) to Marleneheim (67) and was established by the Tourist Office in 1953 for a car rally.
The wine route can hold high it's name of oldest wine road in France and will with no doubt please all white wine amateurs (it's emblem) meeting with no less than 300 winery domaines. Enjoy the tasting.

Find out the Domaine and taste the wines at the Cellar Monday to Friday from 8 to 11.45 am and from 2 to 6.30 pm- Saturday from 9.30 am to 12.00 and from 2 to 6 pm
Sunday from 10 am to 12.00 and by appointment, closed in the afternoon.
Closed on Sundays from January to April , on 25&26 December and 1st January.

The Legend tells that a Lord of Ribeaupierre gave a minstrel a coin because his instrument was broken. To thank him for his generosity the Minstrels chose this family to become their Suzerains.
Started in the 14th century, The Pfifferdaj is the oldest Festival in Alsace.
Real historical procession, The Pfifferdaj has preserved through the centuries the costumes, traditions and the colors of the past.
Two months prior to the parade, about 1500 people are dedicated to the building of the Floats, the makings of costumes ...awaited by 20 000 spectators who, year by year come to reward the work of all the volunteers.
Every year this event takes place on the first weekend of September.

This fantastic theme park is in RUST, Germany, less than 1 hour from the Hotel.
